KASKOD-MTRONIX OÜ team works on many aspects of architectures, complex DSP algorithms for solving real-world application problems, and software tools for DSP system design, including specialized programming languages, synthesis and optimization of hardware and software, hardware/software co-design, and DSP implementations on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), multicore processors, graphics processing units (GPUs), and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs).

The long-term goal of this research is to improve the productivity of designing DSP systems, minimize their cost as well as improve reliability, predictability, and efficiency of DSP system implementations.
